Honorary vs. Full Members

There are two types of member teams in the National Field Hockey League, Honorary and Full members. The table below outlines the major differences and similarities between the two types of memberships. The biggest difference? Only Full members have a chance to make it to our Fall Championship! See below!

Recognized member of the NFHL

Membership includes insurance coverage fall the fall season (for all NFHL fall games and covers players, spectators, and coaches)

Can play games against any NFHL team (regardless of division or full/honorary membership type)

Complies with all NFHL rules

Responds to all NFHL emails

Must report all scores by the deadline (Mondays at 12pm) and follow all other deadlines

Eligible for the Fall Championship (as long as all other requirements are met – please visit our Rules page for more information)

Must play at least 7 games during the Fall Season to be eligible for the Fall Championship

Must physically attend the Annual NFHL Meeting

Pays NFHL fall dues $250 per team for the fall season $60 per team for the fall season
